• SHARP (Society for the History of Authorship, Reading and Publishing) - an international site, including the SHARP-L discussion list, giving details of book history resources, conferences and publications and many links to other sites.
• HoBo (formerly History of the Book @ Oxford) - the major UK site for book history, with information on events and resources, also contents listings of selected book history journals; good links to other sites.i

• Dicey and Marshall Catalogue 1764 - An unusual and fascinating site devoted to the 1764 wholesale catalogue of books and other printed items sold by Cluer Dicey and Richard Marshall, the celebrated producers of cheap print. Titles listed in the catalogue are linked to modern bibliographical records.
• English Short Title Catalogue - now freely available through the British Library website.
• Exeter Working Papers in British Book Trade History - a web site making available Ian Maxted's very useful working papers on the history of the book trade, especially in London, and in Devon and South-Western England, but also with some national lists.
• French Book Trade in Enlightenment Europe - a database of copies of STN publications, 1769-94
• London Book Trade Database - The London Book Trades database, developed by Michael L. Turner, currently contains entries for just over 30,000 individuals active in the London book trades from the introduction of printing to around 1830.
• Nineteenth-Century American Children's Book Trade Directory - a database of individuals and firms involved in the manufacture and distribution of children's books in the United States chiefly between 1821 and 1876.
